A graduate of Morgan High School in McConnelsville, Ohio, Dr. Lasher went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Niagara University in Niagara Falls, New York where she was awarded the Top Physics Department Student Award. She attended the Ohio State University College of Optometry where she participated in the Opt VII program. This program allowed her to obtain a master’s degree in vision science while completing her Doctorate of Optometry. When she graduated from OSU, Dr. Lasher was awarded the James Bing Memorial Award, the Binocular Vision and Pediatrics Clinical Excellence award and the Excellence in Vision Therapy award.
Dr. Lasher is a member of the American Optometric Association and the BSK Honor Society. She lives in Morgantown with her English bulldog, Lola. She enjoys hiking, kayaking and traveling, as well as playing volleyball any chance she gets.
